Un día con muchos problemas y muchos risas
Un glorioso día de ciclismo comenzó con un posible pinchazo en una de las ruedas sin cámara de Phil, pero en el verdadero espíritu de Dunkerque decidió comenzar el viaje mientras nos dirigíamos hacia Fuente Álamo. Todo fue bien hasta nuestra parada en boxes, cuando necesitábamos más aire de la confiable bomba de Russ y luego Big Dave cortó una cala mientras buscaba algo de sombra. Una parada en boxes estupenda no se estropeó en absoluto por la descripción de Phil de Stuart como "vivaz" ☹️😀 que luego, como penitencia, pagó la enorme factura de 20 € por los seis. 😂 Gracias Phil. Continuamos hacia Torre Pacheco con una o dos paradas más para más aire, en la rueda para Phil y en los pulmones para David 🥵 Un atajo por el canal hacia Balsicas era posible para intentar llevar a Phil a casa, pero por desgracia su rueda cedió y tuvo que hacer una llamada de emergencia a casa para que lo llevaran, ¡a pesar de la idea innovadora de Paul de parchar la rueda de Phil desde el exterior! No le va a funcionar a Paul, así que olvídate de tu solicitud para Dragons Den, amigo😂. Luego se escuchó a Big Dave murmurar: "se lo merece por ir tan rápido". David siguió luchando con valentía mientras Big Dave recuperaba el equilibrio y nos dirigíamos a casa. Finalmente, todos llegaron a su destino sanos y salvos. En resumen, Big Dave, Russ, David, Paul y Phil hicieron que hoy fuera un paseo absolutamente divertido con muchas bromas y muchas risas. Gracias por un día estupendo, chicos, fue increíble.

Dicen que todo viene de tres en tres y así sucedió. Big Dave terminó el viaje con un radio roto. Bueno, podría haber sido peor, ya que su billete de 20 € sobrevivió a otro viaje completamente intacto 🤣🤣🤣

A day with many problems and many laughs
A glorious day for cycling started with a possible puncture to one of Phil’s tubeless tyres, but in the true Dunkirk spirit he decided to start the ride as we headed off towards Fuente Alamo. All went well until our pit stop when more air was needed from Russ’s trusty pump & then Big Dave sheared a cleat as he searched for some shade. A super pit stop wasn’t spoiled at all by Phil’s description of Stuart as “sprightly” ☹️😀 who then as a penance paid the massive bill of 20€ for the six of us!!! 😂 Thanks Phil. We carried on towards Torre Pacheco with another stop or two for more air, in the tyre for Phil & in the lungs for David 🥵 A short cut up the canal towards Balsicas was in order to try & get Phil home but alas his tyre gave out & he made an emergency call home for a lift, despite Paul’s innovative idea of patching Phil’s tyre from the outside!!!! It won’t catch on Paul, so forget you application to Dragons Den mate. 😂 Big Dave was then heard to mutter, “it serves him right for riding so fast” David battled on manfully as Big Dave found his legs as we headed home, Eventually everyone arriving at their destination safe & sound. To sum up, Big Dave, Russ, David, Paul & Phil made today an absolute joy of a ride with much banter & plenty of laughs. Thanks for a super day guys, it was awesome.

They say everything comes in threes & so it happened, Big Dave finished the ride with a broken spoke, well it could have been worse as his 20€ note survived yet another ride fully intact🤣🤣🤣
